Oxfordshire’s Labour Market Information sector focused bulletins now available
The purpose of labour market information is to inform young people - and those that advise them, including parents, teachers and careers advisers - of the job opportunities and employment landscape of Oxfordshire, now and in the future. This will help them plan their career pathways based on local information about what jobs and Apprenticeships are currently in demand and how jobs are changing.
The latest edition of Oxfordshire’s Labour Market Information (LMI) bulletin - produced by Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP) - is available on the Opportunities to Inspire (O2i) website at www.o2i.org/content/lmi.
A suite of sector focused bulletins have just been added, giving an overview of each sector’s performance, successes and challenges in Oxfordshire:
- Focus on Engineering
- Focus on Care
- Focus on Creative and Digital
- Focus on Construction
- Focus on Retail and Sales
You can find these at www.o2i.org/content/lmi by scrolling down the page and clicking on each of the green ‘Focus on …’ LMI blocks.
The LMI bulletin’s four sections on Economy, Current and Future jobs and Skills and qualifications; the LMI quiz; lesson plan resources and poster pack can also be found on this webpage.
