Apprenticeship Ambassador Round Up June
It’s been a busy month for both the Oxfordshire Apprenticeships team and the Ambassadors! This month has seen Ambassadors presenting awards, featuring in the newspaper and attending the Oxfordshire Apprenticeships Roadshow.
While Zoe Adams from Jacobs Douwe Egberts was on the judging panel for the Apprenticeship of the Year award at the Oxfordshire Business Awards and helped choose a deserving winner, Emily Bampton from NatWest Bank and Jack Owen from BMW MINI Plant Oxford announced the winners and presented the award to StuartBarr at the awards dinner. Congratulations were also given to other finalists in the category, Benson-based Grundon Waste Management and Norbar Torque Ltd from Banbury.
James Parfitt from Darke & Taylor was on hand to go back to his former school, The Bicester School, to talk at their Year 12 Future Plans Day.
Emma Farrow, Brethertons Llp, Jack Owen and Adam Fisk, University of Oxford Museum of Natural History, featured in the Oxford Mail Apprenticeships Focus supplement. All 3 Apprentices were quoted describing their Apprenticeships and the unique opportunities it has brought them.
Brad Eaton from Reaction Engines, and Charlotte Cox from Oxfordshire Apprenticeships came along to the Oxfordshire Apprenticeships Roadshow at Milton Park and Tesco Cowley to promote and talk about their Apprenticeship experiences to young people, parents and employers.
