Can you offer a work experience placement this Responsible Business Week?
The Oxfordshire Work Experience (OWE) team are seeking organisations in the Bicester area who would be willing and able to offer work experience placements to students from Heyford Park Free School. They are looking for one week placements for year 10 students (aged 15) for the week of 3rd July.
Your guide to work experience
Working with Oxfordshire responsible business group Reciprocate, the OWE team have devised a best practice employer guide to work experience, which is a practical approach to organising work experience in Oxfordshire. It explains the many benefits to employers of offering work experience placements, such as being a great way to find future Apprentices for your organisation. Read our article ‘From work experience to an Apprenticeship’ and download your free employer guide here.
Responsible Business Week
This week is Responsible Business Week, an annual national campaign that provides an opportunity for businesses to inspire each other to make a positive impact in society and turn aspiration into action. This is a fantastic time to have a look at the guide and consider whether you could offer an amazing opportunity to a young person.
Can you help the Oxfordshire Work Experience team reach 50 placement offers for Heyford Park Free School students during Responsible Business Week 2017?
If you’re not in the Bicester area but would be interested in offering a work experience placement, please contact the team at OWE@oxfordshirelep.com or see the work experience pages on the OxLEP website for more info.
