An introduction to Apprenticeships for Oxfordshire parents and carers webinars

National Apprenticeship Week aims to highlight the exceptional work being done by employers and apprentices across the country. The 15th annual week-long celebration of apprenticeships will take place between 7 - 13 February 2022. The National Apprenticeship Week 2022 theme of ‘Build the Future’ continues from 2021 and focuses on the benefits apprenticeships can have on individuals, businesses and local communities.

Introduction to apprenticeships for parents and carers

This OxLEP Skills webinar for parents and carers in partnership with the Apprenticeship Support & Knowledge for Schools (ASK) programme aims to give parents/carers an insight into apprenticeships and equip them with information and resources to support their child (who is welcome to attend with them!) with choosing their next step. Speaking at the event will be apprentices from the University of Oxford, alongside Helen Johnson, Senior Appointments and Apprenticeship Manager at the University, who will talk about the role of the employer and Ed Collett, Head of Business Development at Abingdon & Witney College, who will explain the role of the training provider.

Registration is now open and there are two dates to choose from:

Wednesday 9 February, 18:00-19:00 >>  Register here

Thursday 10 February, 18:00-19:00 >>  Register here
