Welcome new Apprenticeship Ambassadors

We are delighted to welcome another 12 Apprenticeship Ambassadors, who will be supporting the OxLEP Skills Team in our work raising awareness of Apprenticeships and other careers and enterprise activities. The new Apprenticeship Ambassadors attended a training and preparation day on 3rd December, where they had the opportunity to meet each other and practice telling their stories as well as taking part in a presentation skills workshop led by Clive Shepherd, Apprenticeship Manager at the University of Oxford.

When asked how it feels to become an Apprenticeship Ambassador, Rebecca Godfrey, Apprentice Engineer at Abbott, said: “I am excited to be able to talk about the benefits of Apprenticeships and inform possible Apprentices of the skills they can gain and how they can benefit like I have.”
